Chessington Sports Club has been running adult and junior football teams for over 25 years. We are a volunteer-based club with the management committee and team managers and coaches giving their time freely. At this time we currently are running one adult side, and several junior teams, specifically u10, u11, u12 and u17 teams but we can run a team in every age group from u7 through to u18s.
To meet with the FA rules within the junior section we have made sure that our teams have a level one coach and that they have all the appropriate safety checks (safeguarding children) to allow them to fulfil their roles.
With all these requirements met we are working towards getting our FA Chartered Standard this season.
As an addition to our teams we have started a toddler group on a Thursday evening, this is to encourage children of both sexes to come and try football before they reach an age to be in a registered team (<u7).
During the season the management committee arranges fundraising nights to try and bring in some much-needed funds for the development of our section, these events are held in our great clubhouse which we would encourage our adult members and parents to join for only £10 a year. With the big screen showing premier league football matches and great bar deals to be had it is a club that wants to bring the local community together.
If you are thinking of getting your child involved in football or looking for a club to bring a side to please contact a member of the football section on one of the numbers provided on this page.
Chessington Sports Club boasts excellent facilities including 5 changing rooms (including separate umpire changing facilities) and a very well stocked and welcoming bar and we are continually investing in our facilities for the better as we continue to grow and develop as a club.
We are always looking for new members, adult or junior, or even just as social members so please take a look around our website to see what we can offer you and your family.
Mums and Dads, as well as friends and family members, are always encouraged to come and support and become a part of the club.
